Job Description:

We are in search of a dynamic Risk Manager (Agency Sales) to lead and inspire a team of Risk Advisors in achieving sales targets. The successful candidate will be responsible for devising and executing sales strategies, monitoring performance, and providing support to the Risk Advisors. A strong background in sales team management and a proven track record of meeting sales targets are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure the achievement of sales targets across HEIRS GENERAL Retail Products.
  2. Develop, implement, and maintain internal and external sales strategies and processes to maximize the organization’s profit potential.
  3. Generate leads to support the Sales Team, enhancing sales and building a robust customer base.
  4. Develop and prepare sales presentations and proposals for Corporates, Unions, Cooperative Societies, Associations, etc.
  5. Weekly preparation and submission of sales reports.
  6. Identify and penetrate new markets for the sales team.
  7. Build and maintain long-lasting business relationships with customers.
  8. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of competitors’ product offerings.
  9. Resolve customer complaints in a timely manner.
  10. Collaborate closely with Brokers to manage pricing and coverage.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned by the Line Manager.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum of HND/BSc in any relevant discipline.
  2. At least 3 years of proven experience in an Agency sales management role in a General Insurance Company.
  3. Strong team-building, leadership, and mentorship skills.
  4. Excellent understanding of General Insurance Products and Markets.
  5. Proven experience in managing a sales team in a General Insurance Company.
  6. Familiarity with business challenges in General Insurance.
