WFM 91.7 MHz operates as a specialized and gender-sensitive radio station in Nigeria, authorized by the Nigerian Broadcasting Commission to air programs tailored for women and their families. It holds the distinction of being the first female-oriented radio station in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Project Description:
The project’s primary objective is to extend the reach of Women Radio’s membership network to all 774 local governments in Nigeria, enhancing visibility and listenership while sustaining programming. The initiative aims to expand the Women Radio Network, fortify the Women Radio community, and establish a platform for women across various regions to network, share businesses, and contribute community-centric content. This two-way communication approach between WR and a cultivated community is designed to strengthen the organization’s database of loyal listeners and facilitate the monetization of the community and digital products.
Scope of Work:
This 12-month project seeks to boost revenue generation and brand visibility for Women Radio by improving content quality, audience engagement, digital imprints, and leveraging Her products. The focus is on enhancing engagement with the audience and expanding the Women Radio Membership Network.
Time Frame and Duration:
The project is set to run over a duration of one year.
Deliverables:
- Develop a comprehensive content strategy aligned with project goals.
- Outline target audience, key messaging, and channels for content distribution.
- Create a content calendar with schedules for creation, publication, and promotion.
- Produce high-quality written content, including articles, blog posts, website copy, and social media posts.
- Develop visual content (infographics, images, graphics) complementing written content.
- Create multimedia content, including videos, podcasts, and interactive content.
- Revise and edit content based on stakeholder feedback.
- Optimize written content for search engines and develop content tailored for social media platforms.
- Monitor and analyze content performance using analytics tools.
- Provide regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and make improvement recommendations.
- Prepare documentation related to the content development process.
- Submit final content files in required formats.
Remuneration/Fees & Payment:
The agreed fee for the project is 1,800,000 Naira, inclusive of withholding tax deductions. Payment will be made in three tranches – 40% upon signing the agreement, 40% upon completing a major milestone, and 20% upon submission of the final report. Statutory Withholding charges will be deducted.
