Lounge / Restaurant Manager at Meltons Signature Limited (3 Openings)

Meltons Signature, a distinguished hospitality management company, specializes in providing both opulent and reasonably priced hotel accommodations. Additionally, we operate upscale restaurants and lounges strategically located across the southwestern states of Nigeria.

We are currently seeking qualified individuals to fill the following position:

Job Title: Lounge / Restaurant Manager

Locations: Ibadan – Oyo, Ikeja – Lagos, and Abeokuta – Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day F&B operations within budgeted guidelines, maintaining the highest standards.
  • Supervise floor staff to ensure service standards are consistently upheld.
  • Maintain excellent levels of internal and external customer service.
  • Design exceptional menus, procure goods, and implement continuous improvements.
  • Identify and proactively respond to customer needs and concerns.
  • Lead the F&B team through recruitment, training, and performance appraisals.
  • Monitor targets, KPIs, schedules, and policies for the operations team.
  • Implement and enforce policies, standard operating procedures, and system improvements.
  • Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and teamwork.
  • Keep the operations team informed about ongoing promotions or offers.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Provide regular reports to management on results and productivity.
  • Stay current on food and beverage trends and best practices.
  • Control operational costs and promote efficiency.
  • Manage the restaurant’s public image and suggest ways for improvement.
  • Organize training sessions on proper customer service practices for new and existing employees.
  • Cross-country experience may be required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Hospitality or Business Administration.
  • 3+ years of experience in the restaurant industry.
  • Proven track record in managing restaurant operations with a focus on customer service and sales.
  • Ability to lead and manage a diverse team in a positive work environment.
  • Proficient in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and inventory.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience in increasing restaurant sales.
  • Familiarity with the hospitality industry in Kano is advantageous.
