Community Tester Position

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Conduct HIV Testing Services (HTS) using efficient testing approaches, including risk assessment tools, ICT-elicited contacts, and geomapping for hotspot testing.
- Document the usage and consumption of all RTKs appropriately in provided tools.
- Record all provided services with age and sex disaggregation.
- Report testing data on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Ensure individualized or generalized pre- and post-test counseling for all clients with age-disaggregated reporting in source documents.
- Promptly link identified positive clients to care within 48 to 72 hours.
- Deploy community case managers to other LGAs with high burdens and unmet needs.
- Perform other assigned responsibilities as required by supervisors.

- Effectively work with populations experiencing vulnerability, trauma, economic poverty, incarceration, substance use, development delays, literacy issues, or other challenging conditions.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum one year of experience in HTS, adherence counseling, and confidentiality.
- Knowledge of HIV/AIDS, antibody testing, PrEP and PEP, community mobilization, and advocacy.
- Skill/experience in providing individualized and group HIV health education, testing, and counseling.
- Minimum of SSCE; OND/BSc will be an added advantage.
