Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Support case-finding activities, utilizing ICT and ensuring coverage of all identified contacts through ICT.
  2. Assist in retention activities, including physical and phone tracking of default clients and reminders for pre-appointments.
  3. Ensure eligible clients access viral load services and maintain virological suppression.
  4. Support unsuppressed clients in accessing EAC services, staying in such services, and completing post-EAC viral load tests.
  5. Keep client folders up to date with properly documented accessed services.
  6. Review client services access, address gaps, and ensure eligible clients access required services, including cervical cancer screening, ICT services, TB/HIV services, gender-based services, OVC linkage, OTZ enrollment, PMTCT/EID, and other eligible services.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum qualification: S.S.C.E
  • Experience in HTS, adherence counseling, with a minimum of one year of experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and the local language.
  • Ability to read and write.
  • Knowledge of the local language and familiarity with the location’s norms are preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, Outlook/Exchange, Windows operating systems, PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with other software routinely used by HALG.

Work Environment:

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • The employee will be required to co-locate with local partners, usually in the same office.
  • Regular travel to often insecure and limited-resource environments is required.
