We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the following position:

Job Title: Lounge / Restaurant Manager

Locations: Ibadan – Oyo, Ikeja – Lagos, and Abeokuta – Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee day-to-day F&B operations within budgeted guidelines and uphold the highest standards.
  2. Supervise floor staff to ensure the maintenance of service standards.
  3. Uphold excellent levels of internal and external customer service.
  4. Design exceptional menus, manage goods procurement, and consistently make necessary improvements.
  5. Identify customer needs and proactively address their concerns.
  6. Lead the F&B team through effective recruitment, training, and performance appraisal.
  7. Monitor targets, KPIs, schedules, and policies for the operations team.
  8. Implement and maintain policies, standard operating procedures, and system improvements.
  9. Foster a positive work environment with a focus on motivation and teamwork.
  10. Keep the operations team informed about ongoing promotions or offers.
  11. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  12. Report results and productivity to management.
  13. Stay updated on food and beverage trends and best practices.
  14. Control operational costs and promote efficiency.
  15. Manage the restaurant’s reputation and suggest ways for improvement.
  16. Organize training sessions for new and current employees on proper customer service practices.
  17. Cross-country experience may be required.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Hospitality or Business Administration.
  2. 3+ years of experience in the restaurant industry.
  3. Proven track record in managing restaurant operations with a focus on customer service and sales.
  4. Ability to lead and manage a diverse team while fostering a positive work environment.
  5. Proficient in managing financial aspects, including budgeting, forecasting, and inventory management.
  6. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  7. Proven experience in increasing restaurant sales.
  8. Experience working in the hospitality industry in Kano is a plus.
