Job Description:

Sybil and James Communications is actively seeking an Account Manager to collaborate with our team in implementing communication strategies for high-profile corporate and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will possess tactical proficiency in media relations, encompassing traditional and social media outreach plans. Additionally, strong written communication skills, initiative, creativity, and organizational abilities are essential.

The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for managing ongoing communications on behalf of high-profile corporate and commercial clients, demonstrating initiative to achieve exceptional results. Impeccable client liaison skills, creativity, organizational skills, and a solid understanding of communications, PR, branding, and marketing are prerequisites.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic and tactical support to the Account Executive.
  • Maintain day-to-day client contact and manage client expectations.
  • Develop effective Digital Marketing and Communications Strategies for client briefs, covering launches, events, online platforms, and social media.
  • Unify brand communication across social media channels.
  • Create assets for online and offline execution, including online interactive ad formats, paid and organic social campaigns, etc.
  • Manage end-to-end processes for all shoots, including campaign and content shoots.
  • Generate feature placements in appropriate media titles.
  • Maintain regular contact with key press contacts.
  • Manage PR campaigns for diverse corporate and commercial clients from conception to completion.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to manage launch events for media and influencers.
  • Line manage junior staff to ensure targets are met.
  • Act as a brand champion, possessing expertise in communications knowledge and building key relationships.
  • Deliver coverage across online, offline, and blogs, leveraging added value from all PR activities.
  • Promote all brands, exclusive collections, and products, ensuring close monitoring of team members and designers.
  • Promote Sybil & James and its campaigns, activities, and events globally.
  • Own all media relations, continuing to develop and maintain relationships with key journalists.
  • Monitor Sybil & James brand placement/exposure, ensuring alignment with brand communication.
  • Collaborate closely with the social media team and provide briefs on all events and launch initiatives.
  • Work with the Account Executive to compile a seasonal calendar of PR activities.
  • Manage and support new business efforts, including creating proposals and participating in relevant pitches.

Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 2-3 years of work experience and have:

  • Excellent prioritizing and time management skills.
  • Discreet, professional, articulate, with excellent communication skills.
  • Extremely well-organized, methodical, and efficient, with strong initiative.
  • Management experience is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of creating a positive impact on business through the implementation of a PR strategy.
