Position Overview:

We are in search of a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and contributing to the overall financial well-being of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain precise financial records, including daily entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
  2. Prepare and analyze financial statements, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  3. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, overseeing invoice processing and collections.
  4. Follow up with delivery agents to ensure timely remittance of completed deliveries.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and enhance financial reporting.
  6. Conduct regular audits of financial data to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  7. Support the month-end and year-end close processes.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  2. Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, ICAN) is a plus.
  3. Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in an e-commerce or retail setting.
  4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  5. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  6. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  8. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
